S.E.T.S. — Overall Framework
S — Safety (two-sided risk control).
Prevent negative PnL: a synthetic stop is drawn on-chart (never submitted as a live order) at structure ± buffer and the position flattens on touch; a time-decaying max-loss cap (PP) tightens the acceptable loss as the trade ages (−15 → −10 → −5 → 0 pts); a failed-setup abort exits the moment price violates the level that defined the entry.
Protect positive PnL: a profit-protect ladder (PPMP) locks a rising percentage of the max favorable excursion (≈30% at +10 pts rising to ≈90% at +100 pts), backed by a breakeven move once in profit and a give-back backstop.
E — Entry. The specific, named trigger for each setup (level break, retest, MA/VWAP cross, or reversal candle); enter on the trigger, not on a guess.
T — Target. A specific level and/or exit signal — measured move, prior-day level, VWAP, a fixed R multiple, a wave / double-bar-break exit, an EMA close-through, or a SAR flip.
S — Size (dynamic, by grade/score — never gates entry or exit). Contract count scales with grade; a higher grade always gets more size than a lower one, with a 1-contract floor on any valid entry:
Grade
Score / confidence
Contracts
A+ / Elite
≥ 95% (7-of-7)
4 (max)
A
90–94% (6-of-7)
3
B
80–89% (5-of-7)
2
C
70–79% (4-of-7)
1
D
< 70%
below minimum → no trade (or 1-ctr floor if the setup's own trigger fires)
A+ / 95%+ always gets more contracts than B / 80%.
Trades (alphabetical) — one S.E.T.S. sentence each
Back$ide Scalp — Safety: hard stop .02 below the most recent higher-low (one-and-done), trailing toward VWAP to protect gains; Entry: break of a 1-min consolidation above a rising 9 EMA once a higher-high + higher-low establishes the backside off the low of day; Target: exit the entire position at VWAP; Size: scale by grade (A+/95%+ = 4, B/80% = 2, C/70% = 1).
Big Dawg — Safety: stop .02 below the base of the wedge/flag/pennant while the pullback must hold 50% of the first wave to protect the runner; Entry: break above the top of the pattern holding above prior-day high on high RVOL (mid-day, 11:00–1:30); Target: move2move, exit on a double-bar break lower after the second wave; Size: scale by grade (A+/95%+ max, B/80% mid, C/70% min).
Clean Body (Aggressive) — Safety: synthetic stop just beyond the signal-candle extreme + buffer with flatten-on-touch and PP time-decay capping loss; Entry: a dominant-body candle (green top-wick-only / red bottom-wick-only, ≤4-tick wick) within 7 pts of the trigger EMA in trend with slope ≥ +1 (long) / ≤ −1 (short); Target: measured move ≈ 2R or exit on SAR flip / EMA close-through; Size: scale by grade (A+/95%+ = 4 down to C/70% = 1).
Fashionably Late Scalp — Safety: hard stop 1/3 of the distance from VWAP to the low of day (measured-move risk), with the ladder protecting profit once running; Entry: an upsloping 9 EMA crossing a flat-to-downsloping VWAP (long; inverted for shorts); Target: one measured move (low-of-day → cross) projected above the cross; Size: scale by grade (A+/95%+ most contracts, B/80% fewer, C/70% minimum).
Gap Give and Go — Safety: stop .02 below the mini-consolidation low (2 attempts, re-enter within 3 min), pullback must hold the consolidation highs / VWAP + 9 EMA to protect the move; Entry: break above the 1-min range of the 3–7 min consolidation that held above premarket/support after the gap-up give-back (before 9:45); Target: move2move, exit on a double-bar break against the position; Size: scale by grade (A+/95%+ = 4, B/80% = 2, C/70% = 1).
HitchHiker Scalp — Safety: hard stop .02 below the consolidation low (one-and-done), banking size in waves to protect gains; Entry: break of the 1-min HitchHiker candle range out of a 5–20 min consolidation whose low sits in the upper 1/3 of the day's range (opening drive); Target: exit 1/2 into the first wave and 1/2 into the second wave; Size: scale by grade (A+/95%+ max, B/80% mid, C/70% min).
MA Cross (EMA backbone) — Safety: synthetic stop at the recent swing ± buffer with flatten-on-touch and PP time-decay; Entry: fast EMA crossing slow EMA in the direction of trend on the correct VWAP side; Target: measured move ≈ 2R or exit on the opposite EMA cross / SAR flip; Size: scale by grade (A+/95%+ = 4 down to C/70% = 1).
Rubber Band Scalp — Safety: hard stop .02 below the low of day (2 attempts), scaling out in thirds to protect the snapback; Entry: a single snapback candle taking out the highs of 2+ prior continuation candles (double-bar break) after a sloppy, accelerated extension > 3 ATR from open with RVOL 5+; Target: exit 1/3 at 1:1 R, 1/3 at 2:1 R, and the final 1/3 into VWAP; Size: scale by grade (A+/95%+ most, B/80% fewer, C/70% minimum).
Second Chance Scalp — Safety: stop .02 below the turn-candle low (2 strikes max) using half-and-trail to lock the first target; Entry: after a strong break of resistance, a retest holds old-resistance-as-new-support and a candle closes above a prior candle (the "attack"); Target: sell 1/2 at the high of the initial pullback and trail the rest until a 1-min close below the 9 EMA; Size: scale by grade (A+/95%+ = 4, B/80% = 2, C/70% = 1).
Second Day Play — Safety: hard stop .02 below the day-1 support-area low / low of day (2 attempts, re-enter within 5 min), with the pullback required to hold the initial move; Entry: after a day-1-trended name rejects into day-1 support on day 2, the first candle closes above a prior candle high (the "Big Player" candle) before 10:30; Target: measured move ≈ twice the height of the day-1 range; Size: scale by grade (A+/95%+ max, B/80% mid, C/70% min).
THORS Reversal — Safety: synthetic stop just beyond the reversal-candle extreme + buffer, with PP time-decay (−15 → −10 → −5 → 0) preventing negative PnL and the PPMP ladder + failed-reversal abort protecting profit; Entry: 3-of-4 trend candles reverse into an HMR / Marubozu / Shooting-Star candle at a zone / VWAP / algo level, then a same-type confirmation candle pushes ≥ the confirm-move with a controlled 0–4 pt wick; Target: measured move / reward-multiple R, or exit on SAR flip / two opposing candles / EMA close-through / stall; Size: scale by confidence grade (95% = 75% of max, 98% = 100% of max — A+/95%+ gets more than B/80%).
